I predict that when American forces leave Iraq an ethnic civil war will erupt causing the region to further destabalize and worsening anti-American sentiment around the world. The US Army can't stay for much longer, and that is for certain, but the Iraqi politicians might lose control over the situation when security is loosened, and give rise to militias. As for the outcome of the civil war, I can't say for certain, but it would probably involve a Shiite crackdown on Sunnis, a role reversal I'm sure some bitter Shiites had imagined for years when they were under Saddam.
I'm not trying to be negative. I'm just imagining what I think will happen, because we're all wondering. I don't think its gonna end in balloons and roses or anything... nothing does.
