So a couple of days the author of the Harry Potter series, Jk Rowling, announced at Carnegie Hall that our beloved character Dumbdledore is gay.... SO! Ok out of all the things to make a big deal about this is definitely not one of them. I don't understand how homophobic people can be. It's all around us and it's still taboo? That just makes no sense to me. Every article I've read on this has been negative or asking to put him back in the closet. Does it really matter that much to you conservative people? It's not like the character is forcing that life style on anyone. In fact out of the whole series it's not even that predominate. It's only a big deal once the author comes out and says she wrote a homosexual character that people get all up in arms about it.
Guess this will be something else for those Catholics to shun the Harry Potter books. First it's teaching our youth about magic and paganism and now it's teaching them to be homosexual. I am so waiting to see those articles.
