"Cooking"

Wednesday at work on the early shift I got discussing chocolate rice crispies with the other TCs.  Such is the randomness of 7AM at work.  Somehow I came up with the idea of making chocolate weeto fingers using Wispa bar chocolate.  During my lunch break I gave it a go.    I bought a multipack of Wispa bars, a box of Weetos and emptied out my IKEA ice cube thingy.

I also had iphone handy with built in cam.

Wispa bar no 1 melting:-

I broke up Weetos in a bowl until I got bored of doing so. This didnt take long for me.  (To get bored, rather than actually break them all up, I figured although they are a lot larger than rice crispies they shouldnt be too big for cake-like thingies.):-

Wispa bar 3 or so melting into the previous few:-

Starting to mix the Weetos into the melty Wispas:-

Mashing the mix into the ice cube holder wasnt easy (due to previously mentioned laziness) but wasnt impossible:-

Putting the then filled ice cube holder into the ice cube section of my freezer in the hope of hardening them before my lunch break was up so I could take them to work:-

I'm afraid I dont have any pix of the finished product as they went to work and got devoured, but I can attest that they were relatively nice but that they were VERY MELTY.  Mebbe it was the slap-dash method of making them or (my theory) Wispa choclate just has a lower melting point than most others, as although they were frozen solid out of my freezer they melted in our hands whilst we eated them.  OM NOM NOM.  If I did them again I think I'd try more normal chocolate instead of Wispa bars as the difference in taste was neligible.

Anyway instead of a pic of Wispa Weeto Fingers or indeed happy TCs eating said fingers (and licking lots of melty Wispa chocollate off of their fingers) here's a pic of the bowl I licked clean whilst the fingers hardened in the freezer:-
