Mid-terms=completed.
In but a few hours, I shall be sailing to the distant shores of...Marshalltown. I hate to admit that I've missed Marshalltown, but I have. Going home will be a good thing.
The bad thing is the not seeing the boy thing, as said boy is soon to board a bus to Stillwater. But things are good with him, too. We finally took the plunge and exchanged phone numbers. The order in which these things progress is rather strange in Grinnell.
Today, after lunch, I checked my mail, and, much to my surprise, I had a package. The return address was "Young America, MN". Odder still, my roommate LeeAnn received an identical package. We exchanged puzzled glances before our simultaneous remembrance of the night we were really bored and ordered a bunch of free samples of condoms "guaranteed to come in unmarked packaging". Hee.
45 minute car ride with especially violent kitten...priceless.
