Your Daily Dose

Today has been pretty good. I didn't work out like I should have this morning, I was too tired.

So today a medical studies building at Rickards was dedicated to my grandmother. It was good to hear what so many people had to say about her and her influence on integration efforts in medicine. A news camera was there so the family will most likely be on the news... tune in to WCTV. Eh, the camera does not care much for me and vice versa.

After that this morning Dad and I had some lunch and I've pretty much done nothing today. It's good to have a day off- the kids this week were not as good as earlier crowds. Yesterday I had to sit out about 10 kids. Oy, and it's difficult to learn all of the names. There are about 80 kids in the camp plus 20 or so for tennis and soccer camps, plus, the groups change every week. So you may be called by a shirt you're wearing or Spongebob on your swimsuit. Of course I have some names down, espcially the ones who come every week.

Yesterday I also tried to call Nikita again, but she's on vacation with friends.

How about that prison shootout? My aunt knew the wife of one of the men who was killed. It's a sad story: She's terminally ill and he wanted to divorce her- but then he was shot *shrug*.

I've been aching for my Bleach fix, and some new anime to fill in the space between episodes. Jungle wa Itsumo is getting kind of old, but I hate to leave it unfinished. That's definately a bad habit. Open Water, Waiting, Garden State, Runaway Jury, Uncle Tom's Cabin, Chanur's Legacy, The Silmarillion and many other movies and books can attest to that. Dang, that's a lot of unfinished business.

This afternoon's FIFA Cup high was amazing! Ok, Brasil won 4-1. Enough said there. Austrailia beat down Croatia, I felt kind of bad for the Croations because they battled really hard.

Well I was rooting for England but Dave (Beckham) was not up to par last game, but I need to stick with the country I picked. Ha! No comment on the US!

Tomorrow is the camp's trip to Blue Springs, so of course I'll miss most of the games, but I'll make a few predictions on tomorrow....
Tunisia over Ukraine
and Togo over France

the other 2 are close but I'd choose Saudi Arabia and Switzerland as the victors.

Uh, yeah that's about it. I'm just left daydreaming about these footballers and Carlos. Speaking of whom, gained a decicive victory last night and I expect more great things *woah, dad on the TV!*
...more great things from the Cubs.

Now to finish Jungle wa Itsumo before Hellsing arrives ^^
