Follett International Teacher Librarian of the Year Award, given every year by the Canadian Library Association. At the end of next month, she gets flown to Vancouver for the awards ceremony, where she'll be honored by her colleagues from across Canada. This is a big honor for her and richly deserved, considering the time, energy, and passion she puts into her work. It's great to see that her fellow teacher librarians recognize the gifts I've seen up close for well over a decade now.
