While I'm sure my complaints aren't as huge as those of some of the others here, I'd like to do a bit of griping, if I may. ( Cut for, well, gripe. )

...

Jesus H. Christ on a pogo stick, honey, what makes you think your problems aren't as huge as some of ours?

First of all, you can that that silliness and just not even give it another thought. Even if you didn't have half the issues you have, you'd be more than welcome here.

We're not here to judge you. Nor are we gonna tell you you're not messed up enough to hang out in our little pity party. That's not what this community is about.

That said, from reading your post, I think you're in the right place.

Everybody here has been the rounds with bad doctors, inconsiderate co-workers, misdiagnoses, and the clueless public in general. Worse still, some of us don't have diagnoses for all of our problems, and even better if we do, we get to play wheel of medication, doctors and recommendations.

Then there's attempting to work or get disability, deal with our families, friends and everyone else in the world, who may or may believe there's anything wrong because they can't see it.

And it sucks, and we know and we understand. Hence, why this group exists. So, preach on, sister, it is what we are here for.

And I understand about the bus thing. Not only do I have fibromyalgia, chronic migraines, and nerve damage to one my limbs and I am only thirty, my son is disabled as well. He is possibly austic, and he does not talk and has cognitive delays and a feeding tube.

Neither of us look "disabled" to the blind eye. But we sit wherever we damned well want on the bus and anyone who says anything hostile gets an earful. Anyone who asks intelligently, get an intelligent answer. Because educating the general public on our basically unknown disorders is about the only way we're gonna get our side out.

*hugs* Keep on keepin' on and do what you have to to feel your best.

And welcome to the group. :)

I'm new to this community, and I just wanted to say something...

I had nothing to do with this original post, and can relate to both the poster and yourself...

But your response was very kind and uplifting, and made *me* feel a little better.

Thank you.
