(no subject)
I frequently have deep and interesting thoughts during the day that I think I'll post to LJ when I have time at home in the evening. Then, by the time I get home, I'm not interested in logging on or spending the time composing. So my journal stays blank, and my deep thoughts dissipate...
Such is life.
Recent life in bullet points:
- Thanksgiving weekend in Ohio was generally enjoyable. Autumn was sick all weekend, but we kept her drugged up enough that she didn't notice too much. Still had a fever Monday, so we both stayed home.
- I like my job. A lot. But there is just too much of it for one person to do. We are VERY close to hiring someone else. Of course, it feels like we've been close to hiring someone for ages...
- Mike is back in school. I tend to bring work home with me. We are both very busy these days.
- Is it really the holiday season already? We need a Christmas tree, but it just seems like too much work.
- While we were away, one of the cats found her way into the cabinet where we keep the cat treats. I found TWO bags ripped open and empty. No wonder our cats are so chubby!
