Happy Boxing Day!
And let me just say, Boxing Day is a confusing holiday. I just looked it up on Wikipedia(love!) and am even more confused about what it's all about. Regardless of origins, it's a day in 'Commonwealth countries' like Britain and Canada and Australia where people take the day off and play sports or go shopping or something. It seems like we have that here, we just call it the day after Christmas, yes?
Christmas was good. Got a pretty good haul for a 'light' Christmas. I got an extremely spiffy new digital camera, the Pets expansion pack for the The Sims, Venture Brothers on DVD, JUSTICE LEAGUE!!!! on DVD, a sweater, some jewlery, and 290 dollars from my grandmothers combined. Oh and a 10 dollar lottery ticket from my uncle. Woo!
But that's not what this holiday is about. NO! It's about awkwardly eating dinner with my extended family and then awkwardly watching my little second cousin, Zachary (4 years old and the only child under 18 in the family) open about a million presents. Holiday's are strange with the Suity family. Maybe not strange, but strained in that we strain to make normal conversation and there are a lot of awkward silences. Oh well.
I've got nothing else. Maybe I'll remember to post again this year.
