So how many of you have had a snow ball fight at a 4000 year old standing stone site...cos that's what I did before lunch today!
OK, so, my folks are here visiting at the moment and we hired a car and headed north to Glencoe where we went for a long walk in the national park then had a HUUUUUUUUUUGE lunch at the Clachaig inn (amazing but so much food). We then continued up to Loch Ness and on to Inverness where we stayed at a lovely little hotel.
Today we headed to the Clava Cairns and Culloden...and that far north everything is under at least a foot or more of snow.
Anyhow, that was how we ended up having a snow fight at the cairns site. We looked around at a few places, then drove back to Glasgow. All in all, a good time.
