Having now been away from Sydney for over a year, it is interesting to look at it from with some perspective. I am sad to see that the same fights are happening and the same people are involved ( Read more... )

Whilst I'm normally quite content to keep my nose as far away from all this as possible (It make's life a lot easier) the current burst of drama has almost got me wanting to try to keep up with the goss. *embarrassed look*

Naturally. The thing is we're pretty big as far as an extended social group goes. However, because we're connected by a hobby, instead of simple friendship, there's always going to be personality clashes.

Yes, granted, but that doesn't excuse the levels of cruelty and viciousness that gets bandied about. Hell, I was just as guilty of it in my time. I openly admit that, but now that I am away from it, I can see that I was being really shitty at times. And I don't want to do that ever again.
