yay - pancake breakfast
We don't go out often for breakfast. Actually very rarely do we go out for breakfast. But this morning I woke up with one of my few cravings since being pregnant. I wanted pancakes. I didn't want to make them though because its never the same when you make something. So we got in the car and drove to the closest IHop and got their bottomless pancake breakfast. Ruth got a HUGE pancake with strawberries and bananas on it in the shape of a face! Bradley god strawberry banana short stack. I got the pancake breakfast (which comes with eggs and hash browns. I ate the eggs and some of the hash but not all of it because I needed to save room for pancakes. I was stunned when ruth ate her entire pancake. IT was like having four regular sized pancakes. She even asked for more so I gave her one of mine! I ended up having 5 pancakes. It was a good breakfast. I almost never eat pancakes.
We came home after running an errand and now Ruth and Bradley are out at the swim center playing. I took the dogs for a walk and now I am going to go give them a bath. They got covered in mud during our walk. So give them a bath, take one myself and then take a nap before we head out to watch the super bowl at another friend's place.
And not to worry anyone, but I was in the hospital all day yesterday. I had started bleeding a bunch and it sort of made me panic. They were really nice at the hospital. They sent me right up to labor and delivery and ran some tests. Even got another chance to see the baby on the sono! that was fun. They also made sure to get me set up with lunch too. I didn't get to eat before going in so I was starved.
Everything came up negative and they said one of the most frustrating things for pregnant women is to hear the unexplained bleeding excuse. I told them I was actually happy to hear that rather than any of the other things it could have been that they ruled out for sure. So nothing to worry about, was just more, I was there, tests were done, the doctor checked on me this morning and said she double checked the remaining test results and that I am good to go. Just need to relax a little more once and a while I guess.
