(no subject)
i fixed my mp3 player tonight. i was having a problem with the left channel of my headphones. it's great when the internet really comes through on something like this:

i took it apart once and just cleaned it and fucked with the connectors a little bit and then i hooked up the battery and it seemed to work fine, so i reassembled it. then i realized it was still not working right.
i didn't even mind taking it apart a second time to solder the connection. i enjoy doing shit like this.
it seems to be working okay now. now maybe i'll look into replacing the battery (i get 2-3 hours of life per charge, as opposed to the 10-12 i got when it was new).
