Rant
**Just for reference, this isn't directed at anyone in particular. I just need to vent to get something off my chest. **
Yes. I have parents who are well off.
Yes. They pay for certain things for me, and buy me things as well.
Yes. In some circles this would classify me as a spoiled brat.
You know what though? I have never treated anyone any differently because of where they come from and who their parents are. And I expect the same treatment.
I don't rub anything in other peoples faces or belittle them for not having what I do/do not.
I choose not to judge.
I am damn proud of my background and what my parents did to get where they are now. I am done apologizing for my life.
This is not asking for pity or 'poor little rich girl' comments. Just understanding.
It's what I was born into. It's not fair that I be made to feel bad for what my parents can provide. I wouldn't turn to someone and laugh at them for not being able to afford something.
You may notice that I haven't said 'sorry' at all during this. That's because I'm not.
If someone doesn't want to be my friend because of where I come from or what I have; then they aren't worth my time to begin with.
