And now, to make up for the fact that Cali somehow
voted in a Schwarzenegger governor who hates teh gay, please call the
California governor's office to voice support of the bill that the
governator decided to veto.
PLEASE CALL. It takes like five seconds, and if you have a cell phone
with free nights or weekends it'll be free for you. Otherwise it'll be
maybe a nickel. Please; Cali is better than this man's whims. The poll
is open to anyone, anywhere, who is near a phone. Not just CA residents
or anything.
The telephone number is: 916-445-2841
Press 2 for "voice your opinion on legislature,"
then
Press 1 for "Gender-Neutral Marriage Bill,"
then
Press 1 for "Support the bill."
Maybe he'll realize that Cali and the Greater Nation really do support the bill, and change his mind.
Got this from
allyscully. People, if you agree you should call, I did. :)
Onto other exciting news, I had my first day of school. My schedule's mixed up, the school doesn't look as tacky and my classes are pretty decent. But being in my Ap Calc class doesn't sound fun, I have to change to another class in order to fit another class and my teacher told me that class moves at a faster pace. =( My Spanish teacher scares me as well. Oh and I wll get last period off. How nice it is. heh heh But it'll suck if I need help afterschool because there's nothing to do in between. Oh well, I'll just study stuff then. I hope the rest of the year will be better than today. I'm so nervous about the college process. I still have to take tests and I hve to write more essays and I don't think I'll get into the schools I want to, and I don't think I have enough safetys I'd be willing to go to in the event the schools I want, don't accept me. Man, once December is over, I'll be so much more relaxed. I still can't believe I'm a senior. It's a little scary. And damnit it doesn't even feel special. lol
Oh, and I wish I could go back to Mississippi because
mrdudm and I have a date. Yeah.
