Gratitude
Never underestimate the power of a well-placed comment. Today was hard, literally hard. First day of semester will always be such especially if its bone-chillingly cold and the light rain feels like tiny jabs of ice. And you’ve planned no lunch or food breaks all day which means what little food you managed to scarf down was hastily and lately digested at best. I hadn’t gotten many comments for chapter twelve (which I originally posted on my ff.net account on my birthday of all days) and if you know the story know that it was particularly mortifying of an experience for me. So I just want to say to all those who commented getting home today to these wonderful comments
