Um.... hello? is this thing still on?
So wow, I haven't used this old thing in.... wow 5 years, 2009, man alot has happened since then.
This morning I was going through old stuff and found my old LJ, and I read ALL my old posts, oh god, I still can't believe I wrote like that, I truly do find that embarrassing, writing like a sad tweenager when I was out of highschool, I really was a tryhard back then, not to say I'm all mature but I have done some growing up for the most part.
What to say, I moved to Calgary last year, it really is a gigantic change but it's such a great city, I've gotten to spend alot of time with my brother and his budding family, getting to be "Uncle Donny" always makes me feel good, I want to take care of these kids, treat them right~ As much as Fort McMurray is my home, I needed to get out, there was nothing there for me, Calgary just has so much, I have a few good friends here, I've done stuff like going to this amazing Legend of Zelda Concert, or going to the Calgary Comic Expo! I'm planning my future, I want to go to University here in Calgary to continue my education in computers and electronics, I still draw every once and awhile, but not at the rate I use to. I'm slowly getting better, but drawing is no longer a focus in my life, but I still enjoy making funny little comics to make my friends laugh.
Lets see what else, I've started doing video game live streams on twitch, where it's me playing games in real time, with my own horrible brand of humor, been doing that for 2 years now, I enjoy entertaining people like that. I realized something, I kinda stopped using Livejournal after I started using facebook in 2008, and now I stopped using that for twitter now, I've met alot of people there through friends and other malarky, but after reading this stupid old LJ, I do miss hanging with my old friends, Katie, Josh, Nicole, and alot of the people from the old Anime Club (man now thats old, like when was that? 10 years ago? wow...) this also brought back some bad memories, made me think of a person I don't want to remember, but that was the past, and you just have to move forward~
Man I've gotten bad at being stupid long winded lately, I doubt anyone will read this, but I wanted to get this out of my system.
