I am one of the ones who actually really enjoyed this latest episode.
It may have been the singing, but most likely it is how Clara is developing as a character. I'm really liking her so far, and she's only just gotten her first real ride in the TARDIS.
Also, Moffat is still doing his thing with characters. What thing? You should know what thing XD I can only hope Clara doesn't start lusting after the Doctor, though she doesn't seem to really fully trust him yet, and vice versa, which is actually really interesting and different for New Who.
Children seem to be a big thing with Clara. Actually, they seem to be a big thing full stop with this season. Amy and Rory finding out they can't have children and almost divorcing because of it. Their adoption when they get stuck in the past and him learning and knowing the family history.
Children stuck in the bodies of adults, because from the moment they lose themselves to the bad guy, they are lost at that age. This one right here kind of freaks me out a bit, especially when it came to last week's episode and what's her name's memories being wiped clean too.
Bleeh, I would say more but my mind is too busy raving at me about Clara and I would then get sorely off topic here, because all I could think of was her feeding the giant parasite of a sun all the memories of past and future doomed timeline selves, which, in their weird and wacky way, are a part of her.
Clara's deaths and coming back from it is a lot more interesting than Rory's way of doing things. XD
