Staying Put & Sherlock Letters

Until yesterday, we'd spent most of 2021 entertaining the idea of moving to the San Francisco area. A Silicon Valley company contacted Mr. Malice about a job in early January, and we'd been debating back and forth this whole time. Aside from leaving our family, the prospective nightmare of trying to find somewhere to live with a Dogo Argentino and two cats was also a huge deterrent, and we've been going back and forth for weeks. Ultimately, the company ended up going with someone else, and we were so ambivalent about moving, it came as a relief. So it looks like we're staying put, at least for now.

And now for something completely different... Who wants to solve a mystery? I copied my Sherlock letter below for anyone who wants to play along, (Please excuse the highlighting. That was for my own notes.) I'll post note #2 with additional clues in a day or two, and we can discuss clues in the comments if anyone is interested. If not, please just ignore the cut.











Five Positive Things
1. Made brownies from scratch today & they turned out yummy
2. Mr. Malice seemed to like his belated Valentine's Day gift.
3. The bbq made from last night's roast pork turned out well.
4. Jacob called and we chatted for about an hour.
5. Watching reruns of a TV show called Grimm, a modern retelling of the Brothers Grimm stories
