What's the last book you read, LJ fam? Mine was an audible version of The Pentagon's Brain by Annie Jacobsen. It's a well-researched and somewhat disturbing book about DARPA and its various weapons programs. Some of the things the US government is documented as currently pursuing (like hunter-killer robots, autonomous AI which hunts down, identifies, and kills its targets ) are just plain frightening, particularly when you think of them in the hands of someone like Donald Trump. And do they want Skynet? Because that's exactly how you get Skynet.
