Thank you! I hope I get into the advanced class, but idk... Our last meeting for the current class is about two weeks, so I guess I should know soon. In the meantime, I’ve decided to write another play. I figure I don’t have anything to lose.
I sent the play last night. I still have to tweak it just a bit. It’s a short play, so it’s supposed to run 10 minutes. I’m going to lose a line or two somewhere to bring it within the 10-minute range. Anyway, LMK what you think. I’m always looking for good crit.
omg that's so exciting!!! How did you feel about it being read aloud? When is the advanced playwriting class and when would you find out about getting in?
I was extremely nervous, almost to the point of nausea the day it was read. But it went well, so I was all smiles by the end. One of the actors even gave me her card... I was the only one in class she gave it to, so I was really flattered, though I don’t think I’ll have cause to use it. Edward said I was “bubbly” afterward, which is not a word often associated with me. LOL
Thank you! The blanket was a gift from my eldest daughter. Albus was a gift I gave myself. ;)
