Oh crapcakes, I'm horrified about everything that's going down with your mom :(. It's my worst nightmare, literally and I'm sending good thoughts, vibes and every appendage crossed that it all stabilizes and she gets better soon.

Can't they give her an iv port w/out stitching tubes to her neck? That just seems like... House wouldn't approve.

Oh shit! That's a shitty series of medical misfortunes wrapped in one big nerve-wracking nightmare. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that she'll recover as soon as possible. I'm keeping both of you in my thoughts. May I ask how old your mom is?

Well, I asked my closest LJ friends a while ago about moving to Dreamwidth, but at the end of the day stayed on LJ, because there's still one person close to me who won't move to DW, so yeah. I'd like to avoid the hassle of maintaining two places, logging in at both for cross-posting or whatever, but if you want to move I'd make absolutely sure to stay in contact.

Please get some rest, too, if possible. Sounds like you really need it. ♥

I hope your mom is doing so much better soon. How terrifying. I hope you also get over the flu quickly, nothing worse than dealing with a major issue and being sick on top of it. Hang in there.

BTW, I use Dreamwidth and crosspost everything here, maybe 50% of my flist is also on dreamwidth but almost everyone does all their commenting here, so, *shrug*. Moving everything over was honestly pretty painless.
