This entry is kinda under construction as I plan to write a bit more about me,my fandoms,adding/defriending etc.
- I'm very active at LJ. This means I post a lot and I also try to comment as much as possible on my flist.I don't expect the same from my friends,of course.After all,there's always a real life,trouble at uni/work etc. that can be more important and it's totally understandable. But if you don't update and we don't comment on each other's entries at all (means in a long time),then it probably won't work.So a comment from time to time on some of my entries would be nice...
- My attention span can be extremely short sometimes.Believe me,I hate it myself! Anyway,if you tend to write reaaaaally long entries all the time,chances are high that I not always make it until the end of your text and either skip to the (for me) important parts or even stop reading completely. Just a warning...
- I'm not doing friends cuts often and I don't like it either. But sometimes it is inevitable. I don't do "Comment if you want to stay" entries anymore since I don't see any sense in it but I make announcements so it doesn't come as a huge shock.
In return,if you feel we don't connect anymore then there won't be any hard feelings if you cut me. It happens and shouldn't be a big deal,right?!
- I'm very passionate about my fandoms,favorite characters and ships. This also results in me expressing my feelings about things I don't like. I expect from everyone to respect that since I respect the same for my friends. If someone says in their own LJ that they hate Beckett/Castle for example then I'm totally ok with it. Everyone has the right to have their own opinion!
But: if you come to my journal and repeatedly say in your comments that you hate Castle,Derek/Stiles etc. even though you know that I love it (and I also already know that you hate it/them) then I won't accept that because I won't do it in your journal either.
I don't want to sound bitchy or so but I'd like to get the same respect that I show to others :)
- As I already said above,please make sure that we have enough in common in the first place.Later,when we know each other better,it's ok when we don't watch the same shows.But at the beginning there should be a base to talk about.
Not everyone writes about all the shows they watch. So if you for example write only about CSI and you don't watch any of my main shows (the ones I care about most.These are the bold ones in my overview entry HERE!) then chances are high that we don't get to know each other that well...
Also: I don't count actors,music artists,books or movies only etc. as main fandoms so 'only' having something there in common is not enough,sorry ;)
