Angela has made it safely to Virginia...well that's according to the text message I received yesterday and her Blog entry which incidentally is dated August 24th...apprently the time difference between Virigina and Idaho is more than 2 hours.
It's too bad that Angela and I didn't get to hang out that much this summer. I guess our schedules didn't mesh well. I did get to see her last Thursday before she left on her cross-country road trip. After years of saying that we would go to the Idaho Shakespeare Festival together, we finally got together to see Julius Casear. One of the things I love about the Shakespeare Festival is how they transplant Shakespeare's plays into modern settings. For A Midsummer Night's Dream, it kinda had a 70's feel to it ...seriously...and it toally worked. No disco I'm afraid but a VW Beetle made a scene. For Casear it kinda had a 20's, Al Capone feel but the costumes were more modern with laptops and cellphones as props. I loved it and can't wait to go again next year. Hmmm...maybe I can convice someone to go see As You Like It with me next Saturday....
On a random note, am I the only one digging Men's Swimming? Prior to the Olympics this year, I had no real intentions of watching any of the events. I use to be big on the Olympics but when Sydney came and went I probably saw a total of 10 minutes of Olympic action. Well this year I've been fixated by Men's Swimming. Those guys are fit!
I think they should ban the full body suits and require all swimmers to wear the lowrise swim shorts. :o)
