Procrastinating
Hmmm. I suddenly find that I don’t have anything to do.
Of course, I’m sure I could find some work to do but alas, I’d rather type in this journal. After all, I haven’t updated it much this summer.
So nothing much has been happening. Just the same ol’ same ol’ crap. Work, sleep, eat, play, and trying to keep my fish alive. Probably should lay off the eating part. This is why I gained 10 pounds last summer and just when I think I’ve lost it all, it’s starting to creep back up. Guess that means Leesha and I will have to lay off the lunches. But it’s so fun to say “let’s do lunch” because I actually can! :o) Ok, ok, so I’m a dork. So yes, Miyagi is still alive although that might change when I come home tonight. Although, I’ve been saying he’s going to die for the last 6 months. I’m surprise he hasn’t kicked the bucket. Well at least he made it past his first birthday. That’s an accomplishment for me as a pet owner. :o) I have this feeling that I’m torturing him by trying to keep him alive.
Anyhoo, I think Karma and I are spending some q-time together tomorrow night. We haven’t seen each other much this summer except for the occasional times I bump into her at her work. She’s finally going to show me the patter for her wedding dress and the possible pattern that I’ll be wearing. I’m going to one of her bridesmaids next year so I’m really excited.
Oy, that reminds me. I need to talk to Delite. Haven’t spoken to her in ages but she was always telling me to keep June 2005 open to go to her wedding…well it looks like I’m booked for a weekend.
Well I did see Karma and Joni last week to celebrate Joni’s birthday. We’re doing better this year. Last year we celebrated Joni’s birthday in September. I don’t know if we got around to celebrating mine. We’ve actually been good this year with Karma’s and Joni’s. So we ate dinner at Pad Thai and then headed over to Joni’s to play a few games. I’m not a games person but it was ok. Hey, I beat everyone in the first game and I never played it before. I got to meet Joni’s boyfriend Justin and her roommate…can’t remember her name for the life of me.
Hmmm…what else. Oh, I got to see The Village with Leesha on Saturday. I liked it. :o) I did guess the ending but that’s ok. Bryce Dallas Howard, Joaquin Phoenix, and Adrian Brody were brilliant.
