Happy Thanksgiving to everyone! It doesn't even feel like it was just Thanksgiving. This year has flown by like whoa! Last night was basically a DeLand High reunion. It started off pretty 'interesting' for me. Saw some people I didn't expect to see. Good thing I was already intoxicated, or else I woulda felt worse than I did. But you just gotta shake those things off right? But then I saw EVERYONE that I wanted to see. I don't remember it completely, but if I was too belligerent and sounded dumb, I am apologizing now. I fell down a lot last night, one of the times with Lee aka GARGOYLE. :) What a night. Steph had to take care of me and drive me, and then I got to see Micah, I've missed him a lot since he's been gone so it was very nice ;)
I awoke with a hangover, to make a pumpkin pie, then laid back in bed. Sam, Kris & Emily came over for Thanksgiving dinner. It was rather divine. Then, later on... Steph, Me, Lee, Heather and others went to Daytona to see RENT. Fantastic movie, with a great message just about life in general. I cried like a baby, go figure.
I wanted to state the things I am most thankful for in my life.
- My family- to have my real parents and 3 great sisters
- My extended family- the Allens & the Stewarts, the most wonderful family anyone could ask for
- My friends- are always there, and are 100% understanding and love no matter what.
- My niece- a new addition to my life. I couldn't have imagined a more perfect lil girl, she makes me happy.
- My new house- after nearly 10 yrs of talking about moving, we actually did it, it's fabulous
- My wonderful job- Exquisite Papers, it'll be a year and a half soon.
- The ladies @ my job, who are like other mothers and sisters to me- Their guidance/support & understanding w/ everything & the jokes of course :)
- Good health- Good health for me, my family and my friends.
- Of course, God... he is @ the top of my list actually- What can you say? He speaks for himself
The memories that are made with each of those are unforgettable and priceless. I've learned so much the past 6 months or so, and I know I'm only going to keep learning more. I am so grateful for the people who have affected my life, even the ones who I don't talk to anymore. I hope they know they are appreciated and I think of them daily & hope all is well and that they are happy.
So here comes Christmas and New Year's. I love this time of year :) The rest of my entry are pics of my new house, friends, & Emily.
