So The Day Has Come

The day is finally here. The one where being a human being is finally exhausting. I don't know how to handle it anymore.

-FRIENDS-
You think you're so great, and most of you are. But those who I'm about to chew out will know who they are within a heartbeat, I'm sure. For those I haven't talked to in a while, you may as well skip ahead.
When I was still at school, you all encouraged me to leave home, to make it on my own because of how unhappy I was. What happened? The second I left the rumours started. How much of a loser I was, and how much I didn't deserve the good things. You all helped me along because you were too afraid to voice your real opinion of me. I left the city and everytime I returned I could see it on your faces and in your eyes. You hated me. You couldn't stand what I had become, and somehow I blame you. You can't accept change, and that is your greatest flaw. I know who you guys are, and you know too. Stop talking to me. Don't even bother. I don't need friends who backstab, and will say anything without asking me first.

-LOVE-
Why should I even comment? No boyfriend. Most guys see me as this huge sex symbol. Asked a friend if they wanted to go to the movies... he said he's rather hang out on a bed. Sure, it's all fun and games ... until it's all a girl hears. I may as well be the town bicycle. I hate it! Stop treating me like a floor mat.
And as for those flirts and extremely touchy drunks, make sure that the next girl you get close to knows exactly who you are, and that it's just the way you are. Got it?

-SCHOOL-
The teachers all need to shut their mouths. "You think you're invincible because you're young." Excuse me, more students in your classrooms have faced the deaths of some really good friends, than you'd think or could imagine. Some of them were even in the room when it happened. Loved ones have died. We know we're not invincible. It's just sad that you see us living our lives by any choice we want, as 'invincibility' and not independance.
"High school is to prepare you for the real world." Bullshit! High school is one big drama. So, it gets us in the swing of making sure things are in on time, being a citizen of a country, punctuality, social skills, but that's as far as it goes. In the real world there are NO extensions. You don't hand it in, your boss is coming down on you hard, or you lose your job. End of story. You don't usually ask to go to the bathroom at work. The only people who do so, are those who have just come out of a 30 year prison sentence and are used to it.
If teachers don't stop telling me how much I need to pay attention to learn about life, then I will honestly be forced to verbally assault one of them. Sure I'll be suspended but I'm tired of them telling me I don't know squat because I'm a high school student.
