Gratitude
It's Friday! YAY! Grateful! Wheeeee!!!! Pete and I have a fun weekend planned - and it will be good to get a change of scenery, etc.
Additionally - my vacation day for next week was approved, so I'll be off Wednesday thru Sunday. Five whole days. Britt will be home Tuesday night - so that means an entire extra day with my Fille-Fille. Giant gobs of gratitude for that - obviously.
I am grateful that I slept really well last night. I think I am rested up for the weekend. Phew.
Now, I just have to finish packing. I'm also trying to spruce up my hat for the weekend. My mini-pirate hat from the wedding is MIA (likely - it is packed in storage with our other wedding/pirate gear). It was hard to keep that sucker on my head anyway, though, so it's fine by me to wear one of my other hats. I just want to dress it up a bit so it looks fancier (nothing like waiting until the last minute). So, before work this morning - I gathered all of the necessary supplies and got them laid out. On every single break I have today, I'll either be fine-tuning my packing or working on that hat. heh. BUT - that's only because I've got such a fun weekend planned. (GLEE!)
