Mal: Can you please help me put the shish kabobs together while I finish making the soup?
F.: Sure.
F. gets to work, his back turned to me, while I'm on the other side of the kitchen by the stove.
F.: Oink-oink...mooo mooo...swishhhhh...zooom!
Pause.
F.: Oink-oink...mooo mooo...swishhhhh...zooom!
Pause.
F.: Oink-oink...mooo mooo...swishhhhh...zooom!
Pause.
F.: Oin...
Mal: Sweetie? What are you doing?
F.: Sound effects while assembling our kebobs.
Mal: Ok. So, the oink-oink is for the bacon that you are wrapping around the meat. What is the moo moo for?
F.: The piece of cow around which the bacon strip goes.
Mal: But...um...sweetie? That's chicken!
F.: Well, it's dark brown!
Mal: Yes, that's what happens to chicken when it's been marinating in soya sauce for a few hours.
F.: Oh.
I love my husband. :-)
