My Usual Update and Fics Recommendations
Hi everybody
First things first - here's my usual update. Chapter 3 is well underway, fully outlined and 2k into it so far. I have a million valid excuses as to why it's not actually finished yet, but I bet you're not interested, right? Nevermind, I'm working on it, I promise - I hope it will answer all your questions because I know Chapter 2 ended on a bit of a cliffhanger...
Secondly - I just wanted to recommend a couple of stories I'm currently reading. They're acutally het [SHOCK! HORROR!] which isn't usually my bag but they both feature Isaac as a main character and that's, of course, how I got sucked in.
The first one is 'Stained Red' by withasmile87 - a lot of you are probably already reading her work (she's a very prolific writer) but this story had been on a hiatus for a few months. However, it's back (possibly also due to my pathetic begging) and you can read all the chapters so far here.
The second one is by an author new to Livejournal - I'm talking about anonymoushanfic and the story is called 'Understudy'. It's narrated from Isaac's POV and it's het. I'm really enjoying this writer's style so far, if enjoying is the right word for a story that has you reach for a box of tissues to weep into. Yes, it's very sad - but it's good!
So anyway, that's all for me, I hope you still remember me and I promise you, the next chapter of The Innocents is coming SOON. In fact, I'm off to write now.
