Better Late Than Never?
Hey all. We're slinking ashamedly back over here for a moment to apologize for never posting anything after our ill-fated poll almost a year ago. We had fully intended to run another round last year, but the poll got a bit out of hand, and the results were not what we expected. Instead of being responsible and making a decision, we retreated and eventually allowed the community to collect dust.
In the end, we actually did come to a decision, though we never posted about it; we made this decision because, while many of the ideas expressed on the poll post were great, they did not fit with our original idea for the exchange. We were worried about maintaining that original idea. Therefore, for the record, we decided that we would add only Astoria and Audrey; and that Narcissa, Molly, Audrey, and Astoria should be allowed either married or unmarried.
It is unlikely that we will be running another round in the near future (if at all), and quite likely that we would have a small crowd, anyway, due to our negligence last year. However, we realized that we had never posted an announcement about the poll results, and thought that, at the very least, everyone deserved some closure about this.
We hope you can forgive us for letting the exchange fall through.
