machines ordered
ok 2 new computers are in theory on their way to me. my credit card is crying for mercy. For those that have complained for years of my attachment to CRT monitors.. well your time is over. i will have 2 24" flats on the desk now. I went with a dell for one and a cyberpowerpc for the other. systems stats are close. the biggest being a geforce 9800 gx2 w/o a physics accelerator vs dual geforce 8800 ultras w/ physics accelerator. well that and having to be on the phone with dell for 3 times the wait to make sure they got the low latency memory i wanted in the machines.
oh well.. now the hard part... the wait....there's nothing more painful then spending money and having to sit there with nothing to show for it, but a couple of emails promises cool stuff to come.
