Spring has sprung! There are blossoms popping up everywhere, and the weather has been basically delightful for the past few days. Why can't it be 20°C and sunny and breezy FOREVER? UGH. (There's a couple of jaybirds perched in the trees across the way. For now I can still see the lake through the branches, but in a couple of weeks they'll be so

I have used Lush products for ten years and I actually worked there for a couple of years too. I have extremely sensitive skin and had very few problems with any of their products.
My favourite cleansers to actually wash my face are Herbalism, which is halfway between a wash and a scrub, or lovely pink Fresh Farmacy if you actually want a 'soap'. Ocean Salt is an amazing exfoliating scrub, and the daddy of all cleansers is Ultra Bland, which is a little messy to use (and involves damp cotton wool or muslin cloth) but gets your face CLEAN of even the heaviest make-up and is super-moisturising too.
In terms of moisturisers it really depends what type of skin you have. For greasy or combination skin or if you want a light cream I recommend Vanishing Cream or Enzymion if it's really greasy. For sensitive there's Celestial, and for dry skin I recommend Skin Nanny or Skin's Shangri-La, which is expensive but worth it. I actually use it as a night cream because it's heavier than I need in the day but leaves my skin so soft and smells lovely too.
For shampoo, trial and error is really the trick with Lush tbh. I actually bulk-buy Snow Fairy shower gel at Christmas and use that (you can use almost all Lush shower gels as shampoos) but I also really like Cynthia Sylvia Stout. But the shampoo bars are good too (and great value!) so I recommend asking a Lushie in a shop what they recommend, and maybe ask for some samples which they chould give you, according to company policy!
Also the number one international selling Lush product is Dream Cream body lotion and I cannot recommend it highly enough. This shit changed my life, no lie. It deals with eczema, psoriasis, rashes, dry skin conditions, but is light and non-perfumed...a woman even used to come in and buy it for her eczema-suffering dog. No trip to Lush is complete without a pot! It lasts forever too.
Uhhhhhh can you tell I like to talk about this stuff? Sheesh.
