What Foods Can not to be Put into the Refrigerator?

(1) Fruit: Banana  Fresh Litchi
(2) Vegetables: Tomato  Cucumber and Peppers  Vegetables with Leafy Produce 
Kindly Reminder: for cucumber, the optimum temperature in storage is from 10 to 12 ℃, while 7 to 8 ℃ for green peppers.
Vegetables with leafy produce are easier to get bad after refrigerated, so don't put them close to the refrigerator.

(3) Snack Foods: Chocolate
Kindly Reminder: the best temperature for chocolate to be stored is from 5 to 18 ℃.

(4) Foods: Ham  Bread  Fish Kindly Reminder: fish can not be stored too long, suitable under 30 ℃.

(5) The Others: Traditional Chinese Medicine Leftover Moon-cakes
Kindly Reminder: when medicinal materials put together with other foods into the refrigerator for a long time, they are not only invaded by various bacteria, but also easily affected with damp, thus destroying property of a medicine.


Six taboos for storing and freezing foods:

1. Don't put hot foods in the refrigerator.

2. The space for storing foods should not be too full or too tight but to stay some gap, which is in favour of the convection for cold air, reducing its unit load, increasing its service life and saving electric quantity.

3. In order to maintain sanitation, foods should not mix together with boiled ones. According to the storage time, temperature requirements, we need to use the space reasonably. Besides, don't put the food directly onto the surface of evaporator, but in the household utensils.

4. Fish and meat are suitable to be packaged in plastic bags; they can not be stored too long, under 30 ℃. Ensure that there is no moisture outside surface of fruits and vegetables, above zero.

5. Don't put the bottled liquid beverage into freezer, lest the bottle is broken. It should be put in refrigerated box or door of the freezer, suitable with 4 ℃.

6. It is not suitable to store chemicals in the refrigerator which is used for storing foods.
