A much needed update

~Annoyance first :p

I was quite happily playing FFXI on tuesday, making some equipment macros while waiting for a besieged, when I get disconnected. I knew instantly ('cos I'm that good :D) that it wasn't the game, so I assumed it was the router. I goes and restart it, but that didn't seem to work. After about 20 minutes I begin to think that talktalk had done the disconnecting.
They had.
Mam got two letters about the internet bills not being paid since december, so she called them. They told her they had ended the direct debit and that's how they hadn't been paid. Now who's faults that? According to them - ours. Another direct debit is set up, but the idiots delay it by about 2 weeks, so they still don't get paid. Each time mam speaks to them, they say they will not switch off our internet connection. Lying bastards...
It then takes three freaking days to start getting anywhere with them. And they were adamant that my computer had spyware on it, and while we weren't on the phone to them I had somebody here, put something on to my pc, and gotten rid of the spyware.
Absolutely none of that happened.
I did call a relative to ask for help. And I did a ping test and find out that there was no connection at all. So those talktalk idiots were definitely lying to us. My router was working fine and connected to my pc fine.
But holy hell they were so adamant it was all my fault I had no internet. But what was funny was that when mam spoke to the technicians directly they said they'd have a look and call back. They called back in 10 minutes. In those minutes mam and I were just sitting (watching Fraiser on mute, I think) and it was in that time that I had worked my invisible-no-anti-virus-crap magic, because google quite nicely appears as mam was talking to them.
That's about it actually :p

~Okay, birthday crap next ^^

I had my hair done in the morning. Mam booked me in for the wrong frickin' thing, but all worked out okay. I had my hair layered and then put in the bendy roller thingys. Ringlets are so not what I wanted! But after about 2 hours they dropped, and it looked dead nifty ^^ I'll definitely be having my hair done like that again, or be buying those rollers.
Daniel didn't come along until about 2pm, and he gave me World of Warcraft :D and I was depressed that I couldn't do anything with it. I was depressed to hell that I couldn't go on FFXI either ;-; I also got Sims open for business, which I haven't even installed yet. Charlotte's Web (the cartoon original). Two boxes of yummy chocolates (though one box turned out to be not so yummy so I gave it to mam). And I'm getting FFXII for my birthday too...even if it'll be a little late. Least I don't have to buy it myself. hehe.

WoW is so fun. I remember everything from the 10 day trial I had, but I still don't get a lot of it. Like talking to people and emotes and such.
I was only on for about half an hour last night, and then went on FFXI, so I think it's safe to say I'll probably be on WoW for most of today.
