...the hiatus is finally over!

I'm finally back from my trip to Uruguay! At first, it didn't seem it'll be this long, but it ended up being a bit tough... especially because I didn't bring a computer with me, due to my lack of laptops, and I didn't have many ways of getting online ><;. I mean, it's not that bad for a dork like me to be a little bit away from the screen, since internet is a bit too time-consuming and absorbing to me, but two weeks are definitely tough to go through without the net XD! I missed my online friends a lot, orz... which is the living proof, I am an absolute nerd, lol XD.

Good thing is, I read a lot these previous two weeks :D! I really adore literature, so I'm glad I could focus more on books than on the screen for once XD. So, I finally had a go with The Queen of South, written by Arturo Pérez-Reverte, which is a book I adooooooored. Seriously, at first I thought it was just a not-that-interesting best seller, but it turned out to be so good o__o. It's freaking intense and a fast pace, which made me keep glued to each of its pages o_o. What's more, the female lead's development is just gorgeous, since she's so freaking badass.
Other than that, I also read this book called The Love in the Time of Cholera, by Gabriel García Marquez. Of course, the way this book is written is just lovely and gorgeous, as expected from García Marquez, buuuut, I can't say I liked its plot that much. I mean, it's a really cute book, and the main character was kind of endearing buuuut, the main couple got on my nerves, like, a lot. I guess I should have seen it coming, since it's a romance book the one we're talking about, and I don't precisely love romance series XD.
Annnd, finally, I've begun reading 1984 by George Orwell. I haven't finished reading it yet, since I've begun reading it recently, but I already think it's uber cool. I love sci-fi series after all, and I love its portrayal of the various mishaps the world was going through by the time it was written. What's more, I really do love how the term power is developed through the book... I have yet to finish it, though XD!

Leaving that besides, given I didn't only lack internet, but I hadn't brought a camera photo with me, I couldn't take any photos from my trip ><;. However, instead of taking pictures, I decided to enlarge my creativity and draw whatever I'd have liked to take a photo to! So, instead of photos, I BRINGS DRAWINGS! So, I'll leave what I drew in Uruguay here ;D.
This is my attempt to draw my dad while he was patiently waiting for the bus to arrive. [he actually looks older than what he should pfffft]
Thiiiiis... this is my attempt to draw a baby, but I couldn't manage to get a proper face for it, so it ended up with a nice interrogation mark on his face :D! -shot-.
▬ On this drawing I tried to draw just what I had in front of me, and we had just finished having lunch, so greet the lovely table!
The branches of the tree that was in the house's garden...
A random smiling face I drew out of the blue XD. [Beware, this drawing is really, really, really creepy XD]
And, my hand, the paper, and tea XD;.
Gosh, I'm really sorry for showing such lame drawings XDDD. I could have drawn something more... more interesting perhaps? -gets shot-

All in all, it's great to be back! Annnnd, last comment, the Durarara! novels are just epic. And I can't believe I love Shizuo even more than what I already did, but when he's around Akane he's just so freaking... lolicon adorable XD.

art, real life, anime: durarara!!
