The crew of Ptolemy? You mean, Sumeragi, Feldt, Mileina & co? They ended up alive at the end of the second season, so I think it's okay they're alive o:. Or, wait, maybe you're referring to Litchy and Christ, whom Setsuna saw in dreams, along Neil? That was a dream of his, so I suppose it was okay as well... :V. Well, as for Tieria, I think they've always kept contact with him - Sumeragi is seen talking with him, while he's still in Veda. In any case, they should have been surprised that he had a body, but since it was said the Veda created bodies, him downloading his conciousness onto a new body would totally make sense - it was the same Ribbons did in the second season, when Regene shot him. I still understand what you mean, though. They SHOULD have show a bit more of astonishment at Tiera's random arrival, since they didn't see him in quite a while o:!
Gahhh! I knowwwwww! There were a bunch of things that were left unclear. The giant flower, was not only confusing, but uber ridiculous as well. This movie felt so off D:. It was much more supernatural than what our average 00 is ; A ;.
Oh, true. There were some reaaaally intense moments. Setsuna's dreams nearly made me cry ; A ;. They reminded me why he's my favorite character of all times ♥
OHHH! And, it did seem to me like that man at the end of the movie had the same voice as Ribbons as well!! o _____ o! That last scene left me speechless, lol. Maybe Aeolia used the DNA of this friend of his in order to create the innos? That'd make sense, imo. I wish the movie had focused more on how Aeolia made the innos and stuffs, instead of random aliens ; A ;. LOL, WE NEED A GUNDAM 00 GAIDEN. /shot.
I could swear I had seen Mileina dying, I don't quite remember the others but I was pretty sure about Mileina. Well nevermind, that must be my memory then. Which is why I keep on saying they should have made some kind of recap thingy. Man, I had a hard time at remembering who the fuck were some people, and for some others they made it seem like we knew them except, not. Confusing as hell. Absolutely! They were all "OOh, you've came to pay off a little visit, very nice of you, let's eat cake now" that gave me that kind of feeling when it should have been "mmh, Tieria? Wasn't your body supposed to be dead?" Anyway. As for Ribbons, I didn't understand why he's the one appearing before the guys attacked by the ELS. At a moment I was all, "OMG Ribbons you're back to destroy the world, YES!" But it doesn't seem so, so I don't understand, especially since the Innovators and the ELS were supposed to be enemies.
I think they just tried to make a sci fi movie more than a mecha, that whole thing gave me Stargate vibes, which I was surprised about but not totally displeased, I like to be surprised actually, gave off such a scary atmosphere at the beginning. And did I ever say how awesome the music was? Even more awesome than in my memory. And Graham too was fucking awesome. The flower, well, let's say it was just Setsuna being romantic? /shot
I think the whole movie was pretty intense, not always in the same way but definitely intense. Unexpected and intense.
Wonderful, I'm glad to know I didn't hear things. I heard Yusa Kouji and Sawashiro Miyuki at some points in the movie, but they're not listed in ANN's cast list so I'm afraid I heard wrong again, did I? And yeah, that would make sense indeed.
Mileina dying? Hmm. I don't remember that scene. I think she ended up alive at the end of the Second Season. -nods-. LOOL, RIGHT! They should have made a recap... that would have been useful XD! I'm a sucker for G00, so I didn't have such a hard time remembering the characters which is comprehensible, because I've rewatched the first season a couple of times. But, definitely. A recap wouldn't have hurt anyone, lol.
LMAO, THEY CERTAINLY LOOKED LIKE THAT! YOU DON'T GET BODIES OUT OF NOWHERE, DAMMIT D:! Plus, they didn't even exchange many words! It was like "Omgz, Tiera, you---", before Tieria actually turned to Setsuna being like "Shut up. Now, onto serious business---..." XD. Tieria is so friendly XDDD. /shot for sarcasm.
Regarding Ribbons, there're two explanations that could apply to his case: 1- It was more epic if Ribbons appeared, so Mizushima (the director) decided to have him showing up randomly. 2- It was said that the ELS looked for those who had the higher brain waves, and they had copied Ribbons' figure, since his brain waves were higher than anyone else. For example, when Allelujah and Marie are being attacked by random vehicles, they first go to Marie, since her brain waves are said to be really high in the second season (because she's a Super Soldier) and then go for Hallelujah, because his waves are higher than hers. LOL how many times have I said "brain waves" just now XD?
I definitely agree with you. The whole movie did seem to be more of an attempt of a sci-fi movie than a mecha one, which was what it was supposed to be. Perhaps that's why I didn't like it D:. I just can't see how this fit with the previous seasons... it feels kind of off D;. I like unexpected stuffs as well... but this was rather more unexpected than what I'd have liked it to be ;A;. And LOLTRUE. It -did- seem like a horror movie at the beginning =3=. Ribbons randomly showing up creeped me out XD.
Ohh! I loved the OST as well ♥. I've even downloaded it. I love this song called "Final Mission ~QuantumBurst~" ♥ - it's so epic, imo. Graham was the best character in the whooooole movie. He didn't make big appearances, but, all of them were cool *___*. I loved him when he told Setsuna that he had learnt to live because of him ;~;. And I -still- can't accept the fact that he's dead ;___;. HE CAN'T BE DEAD JUST LIKE THAT. T____T.
Ohhh?! I think I didn't pay much attention to the voiced, but it certainly could be that Sawashiro Miyuki had a role there! Maybe a role as a supporting character... V:.
YESS! We FREAKING need more than one Gaiden for 00 ; A ;! I want them to explain to me how Aeolia created Ribbons and all... owo, lol.
I love it too, but still, like, the son of the Smirnov military guy, I totally didn't remember him.
Or Ribbons is trying to mess up with the world again. Actually I don't care, I was happy seeing Ribbons XD
Well true enough, it doesn't really fit with the second season but after a while, I think it's good to change a litle from the typical Gundam stuff. I would have put up with Ribbons, if he hadn't that suit on, that, was creepy. And the random attacks from the ELS were scary too.
At least he died in a wonderful way. Man, so courageous and heroic. My heart now can't decide who he likes best between Tieria and Graham. Actually, he totally reminded me of Treize from Wing, his death and all. So cool. Both of them.
Oh man, I get crazy whenever there's a voice I recognize and then I need to pause whatever I was watching to check who the fuck it was XD
And I just want a sequel. I want to see Sumeragi and Billy together fuck damn. And maybe something in between the last season and the movie because I'm curious as to how Mannequin and Patrick manages their life together. (I just realized, but I think that this, is my OTP /shot)
