Weird incidents are weird I guess, and weird people are weird as well. I can't understand why people sometimes begin telling you about their lives, as if talking about personal stuff wasn't akward enough. I had gone walking this morning, but I had stopped at a bridge to draw peacefully (lolyes, I was there drawing in the middle of a bridge XD). However, this woman turned up, since she was interested in my drawing, and all of a sudden she began telling me about her life, and her husbands, and I don't know what war she had been in, and the paintings she did... and.... and... Maaaan, that was so weird. Plus, her pronunciation seemed to be the one of a foreigner, but for some reason she kept on denying that o__o. What's more, since she was actually praising my style of drawing, she decided that we should sell art together, and, therefore, exchange cell phone numbers. Is something bad, that I didn't give her my real cellphone number? I guess I was reeeally freaked out - the woman was nuts XD.
Anyway, getting onto interesting stuff, I decided that since I never did a proper entry about the series I was watching when the season began, I'd ramble on about them, now that the season is reaching its end. So---... here I go!
▬ Arakawa Under the Bridge x Bridge: I can't believe I've gotten to like a gag series as much as I actually like this one XD! SHAFT's animation is seriously good and the characters are just so insane and random, they're even likeable. I've already gave up on it having plot, though. I'd wish for this season to be focused on Nino's past, but I guess it's pointless to wish such a thing, since the story is pointless overall. It's cute to see Nino and Ric interact, actually, so I won't complain about it anymore. At least it's better for it to be pointless than to have a crappy melodrama >_>. Ohhh, but, I do wish they show more of Sister and Maria, since those two are absolutely badass and hilarious XD!
▬ Bakuman: I.... was actually uber excited over this show, but there's something definetely wrong with this adaptation. I adore Bakuman's manga, and I'm actually uber glad it's getting a second season, buuuuuuut.... I just can't say I'm fond of this show's pace, orz. It's been way too slow paced and focused on Saiko's relationship with Miho, what makes the show boring and cheesy. I mean, they seem to be adaptating one chapter of the manga, that's only 20 pages long, to one episode of the anime, that's 30 minutes >_>. This is annoying me soooooo much! I seriously can't wait to see more of Eiji, so stop showing me how Shujin and Saiko seem to do nothing, really >_>.
▬ Densetsu no Yuusha no Densetsu: Words seem to fail at describing how disappointed I was at this series' end. To be honest, I didn't like it at all at the beginning, since it seemed pretty generic and its gags were too moronic to make me laugh, but it growed on me, eventually. When the series got a bit serious, it showed that it did have potential and I was kind of fond of it. But.... way to screw up characters! I seriously can't believe Shion used to be one of my fave characters of the series - he's way too screwed up already, to the point it's not even rational! I know he's been under a lot of pressure... but what's up with him wanting to kill Ryner all of a sudden?! I reeeally used to like him a lot, but he's way too irrational for me to like him now. And, crap, you're not expecting me to believe that's an end, are you? The open ending freaking sucked, since Shion seemed to end up as screwed up as he's been during the last episodes or, actually, even more. Grrrrrr, Shion made me go into so much rageeeee D;.
▬ Kuragehime: This series is actually one of the few I won't rage against, apparently, since it's been so damn cute and adorable -throughout all the episodes that were out until now ♥. This series is seriously special... it manages to portrait something from women, that seems really difficult to understand. Well, that, added to how adorable the characters are, the OSM OST, that
umi_no_suzume pointed out to be the same as Durarara's (and, heck it was the same as it for real o__o), the cool atmosphere... and... gahh! I like nearly everything about this show XD! I really hope Tsukimi ends up realizing that Kuranosuke > Shuu and confesses to him properly XD! - they're just so cute together, lulz.
▬ Otome Youkai Zakuro: I've somehow ended up liking this show much more than what I had expected to. It was pointless, at some point, but it did have a solid plot after all. It is annoying how randomly the characters are paired up, and end up liking each other just 'cause, but I kind of ship Agemaki/Zakuro at this rate. The series is still full of stereotypes, but it's enjoyable and they are able to make me squee at least :3. Omodaka's background story was twisted, but it was interesting at least. Anddddd..... I freaking adore Agemaki being a wuss, but actually trying to save Zakuro ♥ XD! I'd prefer if Zakuro would be able to fight for herself, but, well, she's at least not as useless as other characters XD!
▬ Shiki: This series is seriously becoming like a drug to me o__o - I think it's making me feel way too anxious about it, but I can't keep on watching it ffffffff. It's just so OSM and epic already. Seriously, this and Kuragehime are my favorite series of all the season, but they seem to be so opposite to each other. I just can't predict what will happen in Sotoba, since the plot's so freaking twisted, besides thinking everyone will end up dead. There's seriously no exit nor for the Shiki side, neither for the Humans side, since they're both so screwed up. But, can you tell who's acting like a human at this point or not? I mean, what the village is doing at the moment, is uber screwed up, since it's not different from torturing people. But, at the same time, what can they do about it? They can't let the shikis kill them, can they? I think that's what annoys me the most about Seishin at the moment. His ideals don't seem to be wrong - pretty much the opposite, but it's just not cool either. I do love Ozaki and Natsuno at this point, though. Natsuno's been such an amazing badass - he's been so sensible at what he's doing, yet, he doesn't seem to care about his own life anymore, what makes me uber sad ><;. And Ozaki.... wahhh, I love how comprehensible his screwed up side is, as well as twisted, because he does seem to be aware of what he's doing, given he won't attack humans, even if they're traitors o___o. Gahhh, this series is just so freaking intense! I almost cried when Tohru was begging Ritsu to actually bite the old woman ;___;! I do respect Ritsu a lot, though-... she's been so amazing, seriously. I wonder what's up with Akira and Kaori, though. Natsuno may be a total badass boy, but he still cares for his friends (the same as Ozaki, who still cares for Seishin), so he was the one who saved them, weren't they? I wanted to hug Kaori so much, when she seemed to be lost in despairrrr ;A;. Okay, Okay, let's stop Shiki-rambling, because I can seriously blab on forever about this show XD.
▬ StarDriver: I gave up on this series to have a solid plot already. I am pretty much obsessed over it, but I just can't say it's a good series. All the episodes seem to follow the same pattern and that's as boring as hell. I had thought it'd actually become a little more twisted when Sugata seemed to die, but it returned back to its normal pattern afterwards. I do like the thriller and the mystery aura, but most of the episodes seem to be fillers, nowadays. I do really wish Head and Sakana had more screentime, though, since I find those two the most likeable characters after all >< - purple haired mysterious emos ftw! And... I've been seriously considering this theory about Head being Takuto's father XD! Anyone agrees :3?
So... those are pretty much the series I've been watching lately XD! I could ramble on about Togainu No Chi, but that series sucks so much, it's not even worth raging agains XDDD! And the same goes for Digimon, Yakumo and Nura, which I still need to catch up with >_>. Oh, and I decided I'd watch Horou Musuko next season afer all.... since the animation and graphics of the trailer were outstanding o___o.
