Arghhh, I've really been failing at updating this journal regularly XD! I'd really like to post things with some sort of frequency - but I never seem to be able to do so properly D: ! Anyway, I've finally decided to write down a damn entry in order to make this journal look at least a little bit alive XDDD;;;.
So, what's up with my life lately?
►First of all, I need to mention how excited I am over the fact that school is finally over! They finished last Friday, but we were actually not doing much the last days. Still, I'm so amused about holidays XD! Those last final exams had put so much pressure on me, but fortunately, I've passed all my exams and I don't need to sit for any subject in December! I guess this is not really an interesting topic, lol. I'm happy about it, anyways XDD.
►Leaving that besides, I've been trying to look for a way to pick up a certain series with my scanlation team group. It's a series I've really been into lately and.... EVERY SINGLE INSANE IDEA THAT GETS IN MY HEAD, IS qashqai1 'S FAULT. SERIOUSLY. She's told me about picking up Kuragehime's manga with The Black Abyss, and she's fired me up so much on this idea XD! Okay, okay, I also have to blame this insane idea starting to get on its tracks because of Kuranosuke's awesomeness XDDDD. Anyway, nothing is said so far, so we still don't know if we'll be able to pick this series, and all... but I just needed to ramble about this amazing idea XDDDD.
► As regards the mangas I've been reading lately, I need to say, that after having heard such awkward comments on Kimi no Todoke, I just needed to try it out! However, I don't know if I can put into words how I feel about it so far, since I hold such mixed feelings towards it XD! On one hand, there's a part of me keeps squeeing over the cute bonds that tie Sawako to her friends and Kazehaya. Nonetheless, on the other hand, I think I'm seriously driving myself insane because of it. I mean, this isn't my first time reading a romance manga series, that focuses more in the romance, than anything else - there were some CLAMP series, which were extremely boring like Watashi no Suki na hito as well. But, all Kimi no Todoke has to its plot, is Sawako's relationship with Kazehaya and the rest. What's more, their relationship is way too slow, and this annoys me til no end! I mean, in Kimi no Todoke there's not even a random and moronic melodrama, there're not even random and moronic sad pasts - it's absolutely slice of life! Just.... arghhhhhhhhhh! NOTHING HAPPENS AT ALLLLLLLLLL! This makes me RAGE so mucccccch! (who would say I'd miss those moronic characteristics of stereotypic shoujos, lol?)
Still, I do think it's a sweet and touching series... so yay for that at least!
► Last but not least, school might have ended but there're still exams I need to sit for - I need to sit for my First Certificate in English exam today and tomorrow. And words fail to describe how much this exam creeps me out! It's an international Cambridge exam, which I've been getting myself prepared throughout all this last year. I'll be test on my knowledge on English in different parts: Writing, Use of English (which is pretty much Grammar and Vocabulary),Speaking, Listening Comprehension and Reading Comprehension. Today I'm going to sit for my Speaking test, and tomorrow I'll be the whole day off to do the other four parts. I guess I should get so anxious, since I've done well in my mock exams - I had an A in all of them - but still... I think I'm gonna screw the Use of English part >_
