Frankly I always think it is funny that people think things like this are so surprising because the girls involved are described as "good, middle-class white kids" who are involved with sports and whatnot. I mean seriously these cheerleader types are exactly the kind of sadistic mean girls that have everyone fooled into thinking that because

You see, what you are sadly missing is that the vast majority of kids who play sports arent "sadistic" at all. And it is the same with different groups of individuals. It is mixed into all groups. Your steroetypes are wrong, and it sounds like maybe you had some trouble with someone from this type of clique as a child, and you are taking out your anger this way. But i would rather not have people writing about this kind of nonsense and the consequentialy me wasting five minutes of my life. Get some help mate.

Of course you are right. And I am well aware of the inaccurate nature of my stereotypical beliefs. Sometimes I like to vent on this subject because it has always been close to my heart. I still have a worn and cherished copy of my high school hitlist framed in my bedroom next to my gun cabinet. But in all seriousness, I know that not all athletes are sadistic date-raping bullies, just as not all cheerleaders are spoiled rich brats that kick old men in the groin for fun. Just like not all goth kids are Marilyn Manson listening Satanic killers and not all Christians are intolerant homophobic bigots. You see, I know this. Sometimes the id comes out and lets me rant and rave in my journal because some part of me derives pleasure from it. Perhaps someday I will find God and I will learn to forgive mine enemies and I will feel all the better for it. But not yet.
