Alright, alright! I'll post...
Yeah, I've been on LJ several times a day thinking "gosh, why doesn't anyone post anymore?" and then instead of posting MYSELF (setting a good example) I just went back to facebook or myspace and wasted even more time... huh... I guess the reason I didn't post is because... I HAVE NOTHING EXCITING TO POST ABOUT!! lol, ah well...
Last week was "fall break" except I didn't get to go anywhere fun and exciting, so I just went to Bloomsburg like every OTHER weekend... We stayed @ his parents' over the weekend (They were RVing at another Penn State game) and I didn't have a WHOLE lot of homework to work on, so I was mostly just lonely and bored with the dogs... I took them on walks but one of them was being BAD... and it must've looked so ridiculous for little 'ol ME to try to break up a fight between two 130-pound rottweilers! Ummm... I started crocheting TJ a scarf... He actually got home from work early on Saturday and we finished watching that OUTRAGEOUS Penn State vs. Michigan game... Sunday we drove to Wilkes Barre (about 2/3 of the way to Marywood from Bloom) and we went to the mall and bought new PILLOWS and we bought him some new jeans and a few nice shirts... But since it was SUNDAY everything closed ridiculously early, and we missed Bed Bath & Beyond... grrr- we were going to buy a new comforter- a DOWN comforter! drats... Then Teej took me to Outback and we had some ahi tuna sashimi and steeeeeak! Not a whole lot happened on monday/tuesday... except TJ got this AWEFUL chest cold!! I'm so lucky I didn't catch it! I left wednesday (skipped english cause english is BOOORING) and got back just in time for my 2D design class...
Umm, nothing exciting happened the last few days of class (um, we only had 3 days b/c of break) BUT... TJ flew to Tampa on thursday! and I'm sooooo jealous! So the entire weekend I just guilt tripped him because he made me leave tampa (I looooved Tampa!) and I got really bummed out because I really miss all of my friends and... everything about Tampa! So this weekend's been really lonely b/c he's been gone and SUPER busy b/c he went to a wedding and a Bucs/Eagles game... and partying his ass off everywhere in between! But I've only talked to him ONCE since he left and I'm used to talking to him twice a day, so it's been boring and lonely... It's actually my first weekend AT Marywood... well, excluding the first weekend we were here through orientation... So, friday I spend moping around... I ended up watching 1/2 of season 2 of That 70's Show while I finished TJ's scarf that I was crocheting... Then Megan came back and started watching with me and I started working on a pretty blue & white scarf for TJ's mom... Though, my yarns got all tangled and megan saved the day by unraveling them... Lord knows I don't have that kind of patience!
Yesterday I got up just before 1... I enjoyed my long slumber! I ate some cereal and took a shower and FINALLY talked to TJ for 30ish minutes... (I love himmm) Then Laura came back from her game and she, megan, and I went on a journey... we went to AC moore and bought halloween decorations and tons of yarn- Megan & Laura both picked out yarns and I'm going to make them scarves... Then we went to Walmart and Megan dropped off film at the 1-hour-photo, so we just stuck around there for a while... we ate @ the Subway (yes, a subway inside of walmart) and played with the toys and bought things we needed (and things we didn't really need)... got back around 7:30ish and played with all of our... stuff... then We popped in that 70's show and I taught megan (and attempted to teach Laura) how to crochet... we finished the 2nd season but we don't have the 3rd!! So we put in the 1st season... Carolyn's roomie was getting busy with some guy, so she fell asleep on our floor, but eventually left b/c we were still watching TV until pretty late!
aaaand today... I woke up around 11... couldn't fall back asleep so I went to Brunch w/ Megan & Jen (I kinda invited myself)... when we got back we popped "Love Actually" in and Megan & I croche'd through that... Then Erica came around (I LOVE HER!!!) and she was going to the knitting circle, so I tagged along because I wanted to finish the scarf for TJ's mom... The knitting circle's primary goal is to make lots of hats & scarves & blankets for the homeless... so i donated this pretty plain white scarf I'd already made, so I feel like a good person :) We only stayed for about an hour, just enough time for me to finish my scarf and for Erica to finish her mitten... I came back and took a nap for about 1.5 hours... it was one of those naps that sets you back instead of rejuvinating me... Oh well... I ate dinner and Amelia just got back and voila... that was my tremendously exciting weekend...
I was searching for flights for Thanksgiving and I called my mom just to see if the times were okay for her (making sure someone could pick me up...) and without batting an eyelash, she gave me her CREDIT CARD number! I was GOING to pay for it myself, but not if she offers! lol, anyways I'll be in Wheaton November 20th-25th... in case anyone wants to see me!!! I'll also be spending my whole Winter Break in Wheaton... I'm going to try and get my job back at Potbelly- one of my old managers is still there, so it shouldn't be a problem! I need mooooney, badly! I'll also be bringing TJ down in January if anyone wants to meet my awesome boyfriend! I want him to see my roots (meet my mother, ugh) and take him to Domo 77 and Potbelly and to AMC and... i dunno, everywhere...
