Talked to Josh lastnight about the band.
The final answer was that they all thought I was really good for how long I've been playing but if I were to join it would set them back a bit. Or make them have to start over and not be able to continue where they left off. They are worried more about getting everything set before they leave and when they leave they'll be good when everything is set and done.
So I didn't get the spot but they did say by the time I'm where they are I'll be great. I have another year of school, family and friends here anyways.
Just means more jam time for Jesse and I haha.
