Facebook Panic
Okay, so I realize that sometimes I'm a moron but that doesn't help my situation when it comes and bites me in the ass.
I have been locked out of my Facebook account. My password suddenly no longer works. This is a problem because when I go to the "forgot password" link, they want to send an email to my login email account. Which is a problem because I've never changed it from my old Smith email which no longer works.
And then it occurred to me today...What if Smith gave that email account to someone else? Someone else who used it to try and log into Facebook? Someone else who could go to the "forgot password" link and have a new password sent to the email account which is now THEIRS and not mine? oh shit.
sooooo....friends, if you see weird things occuring on my facebook page, PLEASE LET ME KNOW!!!
I've written a couple of pleading help emails to the Facebook IT team, so I'll hopefully get it resolved.
My next question--Should I email my old account and see if the person who has it responds?
