Dee was moving boxes last night down to her car.  When she was in the living room for 10 seconds I took the oportunity to say "Dee," (she ignored me) " I would really appreciate it if you could take a minute to sit down and tell me what you plan on taking and what you're leaving behind.  She just said, "I'm taking my furniture," and walked out.

I would advocate being firm. Since she has said she's taking "her stuff" it follows that you request that she not take your things, such as Christmas ornaments, and that she let you remove your possessions from among hers before she leaves.

Please please please stand up for yourself. I don't know what's going on, but she has no business taking your stuff, and she had damned well either pay you back for your investment in the dog or consent to some kind of shared custody arrangement. She does not have the right to do otherwise.
