Them's the breaks, kid
"Officially" broke up with Jason yesterday- had started to do so a couple of weeks ago but he convinced me not to, as if he thought we were worth fighting for, so I figured why the hell not.
I have spent the last two weeks realizing why the hell not.
The oversimplified version is that he doesn't love me and I deserve better; but I think I'd have put up with that if other things were better.
Taken all in all though, it wasn't a relationship and frankly I should be free to pursue something with someone who will actually want to be with me.
