I really like the hints you're laying about Wufei and the internal politics of the Preventers; I'm noticing them more this time around and I like the discomfort of Wufei hiding important background details from Duo when they're otherwise having such an interesting give-and-take. I also really like the way you show their similarities and differences: the segue from the discussion of the shrink to Duo's yell and Wufei's tightly-wrapped mortification at the thought of imitating him is very nicely nuanced.

Also, that is an evil cliffhanger! *waits impatiently for the next chapter*

New freeport always brightens my day. The idea of Wufei acquiring meaningful hobbies always sends me into fits of laughter. The man might as well have told Wufei to teach a yoga class. *snerk*

I think that is supposed to be "pay for one for me" or you know, something like that and sounds better =)

Hi mal,
I’m not sure if you celebrate the holidays or not, but I think this is a great time to stop and tell the people in your life that you’re happy to have them around. You are just the best damned writer. Even if you have left GW I’m still so happy to have what you wrote. I think it’s fantastic that you have a kid b/c I know you must be a wonderful mother. Anyone with such a wicked since of humor should pass that a long, perhaps there is hope for the future yet. I’m very pleased to know you as getting a reply to one of my comments from you always brighten my day. I hope that you have a wonderful holiday season and a fantastic new year.
