Diplomatic Relations - Link to all chapters

Since LJ memories aren't that easy to use, I'm making an entry linking to all the chapters of my various multi-parters. It'll be more tidy and easy to read.

You could also tag them all. Very easy to use; they'd just be listed in reverse order. :p Unless you link this post somewhere, it will soon be swallowed up and disappear down the list with the rest, so... ^^;;;

I put this post in Memories. I had all the chapters in Memory separately before, but they were kinda jumbled, and it just didn't look all that good.

(Um, are the tags you refer to the tags from Memories? Or are these other tools I've not figured out yet, in my LJ-noobness?)

^_^ Of course you need to be logged in... See the blue bar over the text of the entry, with the little heart and arrows icons? there's also an edit button (the pencil), and a tag button. You just click, and then select the name of the tag, or create a new one; it creates a link and then everything you tag with the same word will be shown as a list. You can add several different tags to one entry so they show up on more than one list -- like, say, (fandom) fics, specific pairing, (titleofthefic), genre of the fic -- humor, angst, whatever. (i wasn't that organized at first, so some of my tags are hella weird. XD)

Memories works well too, it's just that personally I never think of using them. But lots of people do, so this is all good. :p

Tags tend to get out of control too. I think that doing a "link page" like this and then tagging each one of those entries would be best.

*chibi-me offers you a huge glomp* It's a little hard tracking all the parts down (I have yet to figure out how to do much besides browse through journal entries).

I was reading this over at Hidden Village, but for some odd reason, part 20 is actually a copy of part 12. (It's at http://tentative.net/JBMcDragon/Hidden_Village/diplomaticrelations20.html ) So I had to come here to find part 20. Every time I wanted to re-read the story, I'd have to find it again (since I keep forgetting to bookmark it and my printed copy is on loan).

*grins* Anywho, I'm off to finish re-reading it again, then I'm gonna track down all the parts to Kindred.

I'll be doing the same thing for Kindred real soon, so perhaps wait for that to come out. Also, you might notice I cleaned up a few paragraphs/details here and there, compared to the Hidden Village copy (I have to send her the corrected version...) Nothing major, just cleaned up some clunky bits, up to part 17. I'll be doing the rest over the coming weeks.

Cool! That would save me a lot of trouble having all of Kindred in one place too.

I'll have to print out the version here than since the one I've got is the one from Hidden Village.

Anywho, great story! I look forward to reading anything you post.
