*beams* A new chapter. Yay!

*sighs* This chapter so filled me with melancholy. But also expanded my love of Lee even more.

Lee waiting for Gaara outside because he didn't want to pressure him. And wanting them to do things together as a couple really got to my heart. That neither have a clue on how to act, as boyfriends.

And the ending, *smiles* I'm so looking forward to more in a weeks time. *settles down to wait*

Yes! Awesome chapter. I really like how you're not rushing this and letting Gaara take his time to understand, as well as Lee. You are absolutely amazing. Plus you crank out these long chapters really quickly, but they're always so great and so deep and so meaningful.

Thanks ^_^ I'm concentrating on this fic particularly, and I have several chapters in advance, so I can post it once a week. I bet near the end, I'll be waiting a couple of weeks between posts as I try to tie the story up ^^;

I like letting the relationship develop at its pace, as it feels more natural to go through awkward, weird stages, and finding things out. It's more fun, too ^_^ I love a confuzzled Lee...

A cliffhanger? You mean, when they walk off together? Ah well, this fic is still very much a collection of vignettes, so you have to imagine what will happen next *evil smile* The next chapter posted will skip a few days ahead. (There's indications, from Lee's intuition, what will happen right after I dropped that To Be Continued in there: they'll walk around the desert in absolute silence while Gaara tries to come to terms with whatever plunged him into his own twisted inner landscape, and Lee will follow and be there for him. Gaara won't confide in Lee; it's way too soon for something like that to happen)

Busy? I know the feeling ^^; I haven't read/reviewed hardly anything these days...

This chapter was indeed a change of pace and tone. The drama is going to slowly start lightening anyway (until the last chapters, if I decide to go for the dramatic version of the end...still trying to make up my mind if I want the Drama version or the Funnier version). The crisis/breakthrough was chapter 12, now things are slowly improving as the boys learn.

I thought the small time-jumps might be a bit confusing (you should have seen the first draft...it was even worse...), but I'm not fond of 'two days later' announcements, even though it would make things a lot clearer, and not just for this chapter ^^; I'll try to place the subtle 'time markers' I use a bit closer to the breaks or the head of chapters in the future, if I can. Man, so many things to think of, right? Lol, to think this is our hobby...stuff we do for fun...

Ok, I've read it, and I loved it. ^^ Everything about it was just so perfect, from the snapshot feeling of the whole thing, to the little things like Lee putting the wrong paper back in the envelope. And this line: If Gaara always came to find him afterwards, even while he was still deep within the darkness, even if Lee couldn't do much more than follow him in silence...then Lee thought he could live with that. was a favorite.
