"Trespass" (1992) was Walter Hill's re-take on the themes of "The Treasure of the Sierra Madre." I had all but forgotten about the movie, but Amazon suggested it based on my recent purchase of "Escape from L.A." It was something I saw in theatres, and I vaguely remembered it

There's some debate about that, as its rap-rock hybrid, while original for its time, may have given birth to the entire "nü metal" genre. And if we have "Judgment Night" to thank for Limp Bizkit, well...Emilio has some 'splaining to do...

Yeah, fortunately things like "Xanadu" were still well-before my era. My outdated fashion movies tend to feature things like cops with mullets, and dudes with red-black-and-green "back to Africa" necklaces.
