AIDS Ride Fundraiser

May 20, 2008 14:12

2 mile run in Noe Valley. There were a couple of runs last week, and various softball games as well, but I've been too busy with work to keep current on ye olde Livejournal.

I'm going to be "DJing" tomorrow at Doc's Clock, at a friend's fundraiser for the AIDS ride. (By "DJing", I mean "pushing some buttons on my iPod, because they don't have a real DJ set-up.") But it should be fun/mellow/entertaining. Please drop on by if you're in the neighborhood.

Full details:

The party starts at 6pm tomorrow (May 21) at Doc's Clock.

Hey all. I'm having a fundraising party to raise money for the AIDS Lifecycle, a 545 mile bicycle ride from San Francsico to L.A. All the money raised goes directly to providing services for people living with HIV and AIDS. Spaten has generously donated some beer, so all Spaten sales will be donated, plus whatever you feel like tipping me. Come witness my superior beer pouring skills! Music will be provided by DJs Liz, Malderor, and Mantroid. Come down and drink for a good cause. If you can't make it, click the link below and donate whatever you can. I'm just over halfway to my goal of $2500 with $1255 raised so far. Hope to see you there!!

Thanks,

Darren
